Kane Motswana

My father was a Bushman, and I am just the same. Roaming  through  Botswana,  looking out for game. He used his bow and arrow. He hunted food with spear. Respecting all God’s creatures, and holding nature dear. And I am just the same as him, Motswana of the San. But times have changed, and so have I. I am a modern man. I shoot the game with camera, for conservation’s right. My memory card’s my quiver, my arrow is the light “

“A gentleman, comedian, renowned tracker and photographer”

“Kane offers one of the most unique, profound, and exciting safari experiences available anywhere in Africa”

Owner and master mind behind Safari Embassy, Kane Motswana, is one of the most renowned and highly sought after guides and trackers in Africa. He grew up in a remote village in Northern Botswana and carries with him a knowledge that has been accumulated and passed down by the San Bushmen over thousands of years. Kane’s parents lived a nomadic lifestyle, moving from place to place in search of game and wild fruits and much of what he knows, he learnt from them. Over the years, Kane has been building on this wealth of knowledge and this, along with  his enchanting personality and his absolute passion for the bush, has seen him to where he is today, Africa’s whose experience and knowledge is unparalleled in the safari industry.

Named Botswana’s “Photographer of the Year”, Kane is just as passionate about photography; building an impressive collection of high quality images of African wildlife, using a canon 1D Mark 2 camera body with lenses Canon 100-400 f4,5.6, Sigma APO 100-300 f4 and a canon 17-85 ultrasonic.

Kane has exceptional intuition and applies traditional tracking skills to a very smart, unique, almost spiritual style to guiding. His San heritage is deeply engrained inside his every being and shows in the way he guides, it lives inside of him and he gives thanks every day to his ancestors who spiritually guide him on his safaris.

Bring Kane with you on safari for a truly once in a lifetime experience…
